Jakarta, Sept. 18 -- Deputy Minister of Cooperatives Farida Farichah has stated her commitment to strengthening the role of co-ops as one of the pillars of community welfare through the Red and White Village Cooperatives flagship program.
"I was born and raised in a village, and I hope that the village spirit can inspire efforts to revive cooperatives across the country," she said during the position handover ceremony at the Ministry of Cooperatives office here on Thursday.
Farichah, who was appointed by President Prabowo Subianto on Wednesday (September 17), expressed her full support for the President's programs and readiness to assist Co-ops Minister Ferry Juliantono in advancing the ministry's agenda.
