Jakarta, May 26 -- Chair of the Supervisory Board of the Indonesia Business Council, Arsjad Rasjid, expressed hope that cooperation between the governments of Indonesia and China would lead to knowledge and technology transfer.

According to Rasjid, Chinese investors are expected not only to bring capital but also help develop the capacity of Indonesian human resources.

"The most important aspect is the transfer of knowledge and technology," he noted at the Presidential Complex, Jakarta, on Sunday.

He assessed that the cooperation is not merely oriented towards investment or the financial aspect, but also strengthening the two countries' people-to-people contact.
