Jakarta, July 21 -- President Prabowo Subianto expressed the hope that the newly launched Red and White Village Cooperatives will support the distribution of fish catches to villages nationwide to boost protein intake, especially among children and pregnant women.

To ease the task, the government is planning to equip each village cooperative with two operational vehicles that can be used to distribute staple goods to villages.

"I hope our fish catches can reach all villages in Indonesia to improve protein intake," he said at the inauguration of 80 thousand Red and White Village Cooperatives in Klaten, Central Java, on Monday.
