Jakarta, Nov. 3 -- The Ministry of Population and Family Development/National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) stated that every $1 invested in early childhood education can generate $7 in social and economic benefits.

The BKKBN Secretary, Budi Setiyono, during a socialization of the Taman Asuh Sayang Anak (Tamasya) childcare program on Monday, said that such investment is part of efforts to leverage Indonesia's demographic bonus by optimizing the productive-age population to support national development.
