Jakarta, Jan. 26 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Environment is supervising 68 companies in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra as part of efforts to mitigate hydrometeorological disasters in the region.

"We are currently monitoring 68 companies, with another 50 in the process of reporting to us. By mid-February, we expect all business entities in North Sumatra, Aceh, and West Sumatra to have completed field verification," Environment Minister and Head of the Environmental Management Agency (BPLH) Hanif Faisol Nurofiq said in Jakarta on Monday.
