Jakarta, Sept. 19 -- Minister of Environment Hanif Faisol Nurofiq has called on all stakeholders to align their vision in safeguarding and utilizing Indonesia's biodiversity as a strategic asset for the nation's future, including for the development of the bioindustry.

"Biodiversity is a source of food, medicine, and energy. Its utilization must be managed through science, technology, and biotechnology," Hanif, who also serves as Head of the Environmental Control Agency (BPLH), said in a confirmed statement in Jakarta on Friday.
