Jakarta, Sept. 1 -- Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, reminded entrepreneurs and investors to remain calm and optimistic amid the current social and political dynamics in Indonesia.

"We all have a moral responsibility to this nation to keep the wheels of the economy turning, in order to secure jobs and public welfare," he stated at the Indonesian Capital Market Stability Press Conference at the Main Hall of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in Jakarta on Monday.

Hartarto appealed to the community to avoid unverified information and to create an atmosphere of peace and mutual respect.
