Jakarta, July 10 -- Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Yuliot stated that his ministry is currently developing various strategies and policies to achieve national energy security and self-sufficiency, which are key to improving public welfare.

Yuliot, in his statement here on Thursday, noted that national policies prioritize energy self-sufficiency as one of the main priorities for strengthening the nation's resilience.

The first strategy focuses on increasing oil and gas lifting and infrastructure.

The deputy minister stated that by 2030, oil lifting is targeted to reach 1 million barrels of oil per day (bopd), while gas lifting is aimed at 12 billion cubic feet per day.
