Jakarta, Aug. 27 -- Deputy Minister of Environment Diaz Hendropriyono stated that the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets in Indonesia's Second Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) will consider the country's economic growth target.

"We detailed the Second NDC plan with three scenarios: 6.3 percent, 7 percent, and 8 percent economic growth," he said in a meeting for the preparation of the Indonesian delegation to participate in the UN Climate Change Conference COP30 here on Wednesday.

While Indonesia's targets set in the Enhanced NDC are to reduce GHG emissions by 31.89 percent with its own efforts and 43.2 percent with international support, the figures in the Second NDC document will be more definite.
