Jakarta, Aug. 4 -- eMaggot, a digital platform that facilitates the buying and selling of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) maggots (larvae), developed by the Jakarta Environmental Service in collaboration with the Suka Resik Cooperative (KSR), has received public appreciation.
"With a transparent and digitalized system, the distribution process is more accountable and well-monitored," Head of the Jakarta Environmental Service, Asep Kuswanto, stated on Monday.
He explained that eMaggot enables maggot distribution from producers to the Implementing Units and the Environmental Service to be carried out more efficiently, centrally, and digitally documented and cashless.
