Jakarta, Dec. 1 -- Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Yuliot Tanjung reported that electricity supply in West Sumatra has begun to recover, while power in North Sumatra and Aceh remains disrupted following floods and landslides.

"In Aceh and North Sumatra, the power is still out. West Sumatra has started its recovery," Tanjung said after attending a meeting at the Ministry's office here on Monday.

He added that the ministry continues coordinating to ensure energy availability, particularly electricity, in disaster-affected areas.
