Jakarta, Feb. 9 -- The participation rate of Indonesian citizens (WNI) casting their vote for the presidential election using the mobile ballot box (KSK) in Izmir, Turkey, on Thursday (February 8), reached 109 percent, according to the Ankara Overseas Election Committee (PPLN).

Based on data from the election committee, some 167 Indonesian citizens are registered on the Permanent Overseas Voter List (DPTLN) using the KSK method in Izmir City.

"Most of them are students studying at Ege University and Dokuz Eylul University, which are two leading universities in Turkey. Since morning, they started to vote," chairman of Ankara PPLN, Adi Sutrisno, noted in his statement.
