Jakarta, Jan. 19 -- State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi said the revision of the Law on General Elections does not regulate permanent coalitions among political parties.

He stressed that the law on political parties also does not address permanent coalitions. The upcoming revision of the Election Law is part of follow-up steps based on the Constitutional Court's (MK's) ruling.

"The Election Law does not regulate permanent coalitions, and political parties also do not regulate that," he said at the Presidential Palace here on Monday.
