Jakarta, April 1 -- Head of the National Police Traffic Corps, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, has said that 1.9 million vehicles were recorded leaving Jakarta as of Tuesday (April 1) as part of the 2025 Eid al-Fitr exodus.
"Based on data received from (state toll road operator) PT Jasa Marga, the total volume of traffic out of Jakarta from ten days before (D-10) of Eid al-Fitr, March 21, at 6 a.m. until D+1, April 1, at 6 a.m., totals 1,963,152 vehicles," he informed in a statement released here on Tuesday.
The figure is based on counts conducted at the four main toll gates: Cikampek Utama, Kalihurip Utama, Ciawi, and Cikupa. The number reflects an increase of 25.5 percent compared to normal traffic levels. It is also 0.5 percent ...
