Jakarta, March 29 -- The National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) is providing assistance to travelers during the Eid travel flow, as tidal flooding has impacted some parts of Java's northern coastal region, particularly the Semarang-Demak route in Central Java.
Head of the BNPB Data, Information, and Disaster Communication Center, Abdul Muhari, announced here on Friday night that his side has set up some service posts in the northern coastal area.
The BNPB team is working alongside joint personnel from the Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), the Indonesian Military (TNI), and the National Police (Polri).
