Jakarta, March 10 -- President Prabowo Subianto has directed that the holiday allowance for employees of private, state-owned (SOEs), and region-owned (BUMD) enterprises be paid no later than seven days before Eid.

"The holiday allowance for private sector, SOE, and BUMD employees should be given no later than seven days before Eid," he said at the Merdeka Palace here on Monday.

According to Prabowo, the government reached the decision after a series of meetings involving Red and White Cabinet ministers.

Details on the mechanisms for the provision of holiday allowance will be provided in a circular letter by the Manpower Ministry.
