Jakarta, Jan. 15 -- Religious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin Umar highlighted the concept of ecotheology during the national commemoration of Isra Mikraj of the Prophet Muhammad at Jakarta's Istiqlal Mosque, describing it as a response to the various challenges currently faced by society.

"At the heart of this commemoration, we are emphasizing ecotheology. This is very timely as we observe Isra Mikraj at a moment when our society is being tested, while also providing encouragement to those who have been affected," Nasaruddin said in Jakarta on Thursday evening.
