Jakarta, Sept. 17 -- An advisor at the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), Fithra Faisal, stated that freelance workers without formal contracts, such as online motorcycle taxi drivers, are among the primary beneficiaries of the 2025 economic stimulus package.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he explained that the package comprises eight acceleration programs, four follow-up programs, and five worker absorption programs.

"Incentives under this economic stimulus also cover protection for informal workers. The government is paying special attention to them," he said.
