Indonesia, April 8 -- Development of Indonesia's new capital, Nusantara City (IKN), is progressing as planned, contrary to rumors of being stalled, Governor Rudy Mas'ud of the neighboring East Kalimantan stated after recently visiting the new capital site.

"The new capital's development is not stalled. Yesterday (April 6), I went for an incognito visit there, and I found the construction continues," Mas'ud stated during a meeting with local journalists here on Monday (April 7).
