Samarinda, Sept. 5 -- Exports of various oil and gas and non-oil and gas commodities from East Kalimantan Province to various countries increased by 5.44 percent in July 2025 compared to the previous month, reaching US$1.7 billion.

The Head of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of East Kalimantan Province, Yusniar Juliana, in Samarinda on Friday, stated that the export volume was derived from oil and gas valued at US$179.4 million, an increase of 29.56 percent.

"Non-oil and gas exports reached US$1.52 billion, a 3.18 percent increase," she said.

There are three countries with the highest export values throughout July 2025: China, with US$497.67 million; India, with US$205.43 million; and the Philippines, with US$105.96 million.
