Blitar, April 4 -- Tourist destinations in East Java province have remained safe and conducive amid a surge in people's mobility during the Eid al-Fitr holiday season, Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs, Budi Gunawan, has said.
"The situation in tourist destinations remains safe and conducive owing to the sound level of preparedness demonstrated by security officers in the field," he added while reviewing the 2025 Eid return flow on a route connecting Malang city and Blitar district on Friday.
Gunawan pointed out that reports have indicated thousands of vehicles moving in the direction of tourist destinations such as Batu city, Mount Bromo, Sarangan Lake in Magetan district, and Karangkates Dam in Malang district....
