Indonesia, Sept. 6 -- East Java's Probolinggo District highlighted its cultural heritage at the 2025 Chandi Forum, held from September 3-5 at Sanur Beach, Bali, drawing delegates from more than 30 countries.
Probolinggo District Head Mohammad Haris was among the key figures at the international gathering on Culture, Heritage, Arts, Narratives, Diplomacy, and Innovations, which brought together cultural leaders, scholars, and local officials.
"Local culture is Indonesia's face to the world. The values of our villages can inspire globally," Haris said in a statement on Saturday.
Haris introduced Probolinggo's diverse traditions, including the Yadnya Kasada ceremony and rituals of the Tengger community living on the slopes of Mount Bromo....
