Jakarta, Oct. 31 -- Deputy Minister of Manpower Afriansyah Noor discussed a new minimum wage formula with leaders of confederations, federations, and company-level labor unions in Jakarta on Friday (October 31).

The discussion is part of the government's efforts to design a wage policy that is more adaptive to national and regional economic dynamics.

According to Afriansyah, also known as Ferry, the new formula is needed to maintain a balance between workers' purchasing power, business sustainability, and economic equity.

He emphasized that the ongoing improvement of the wage policy aligns with the government's goal of strengthening fair industrial relations.
