Jakarta, June 17 -- Member of Commission IX of the House of Representatives (DPR), Muazzim Akbar, has urged the government, especially regional governments, to boost promotion of the Free Health Screening (CKG) program.
This is deemed necessary to improve the public's awareness of the importance of health screenings to detect diseases early.
In a statement received here on Tuesday, he underlined that the program, which was initiated by President Prabowo, should be utilized by all parties, including the health workers themselves.
"The government wants to provide the best services. Through this program, we can detect the health conditions of all Indonesian citizens," he said.
