Jakarta, June 26 -- The House of Representatives (DPR) has urged Indonesian nationals stranded in areas affected by the Iran-Israel conflict to remain calm, assuring that the government is conducting gradual evacuation efforts.

"We urge Indonesians there to remain calm. The government is maintaining communication and providing updates on the condition of our citizens in Iran, and will continue with step-by-step evacuations," said Deputy Speaker Sufmi Dasco Ahmad at the parliamentary complex on Thursday.

He emphasized that the House leadership and Commission I are coordinating closely with the government to monitor the situation of Indonesians affected by the conflict.
