Jakarta, Jan. 23 -- DPR Commission I member Oleh Soleh said Indonesia's involvement in the Trump-initiated Board of Peace must align with the constitutional principles of an independent and active foreign policy.

According to him, the DPR will seek an explanation from the government regarding the decision. In principle, he also appreciated any international initiative aimed at ending the armed conflict and alleviating the suffering of civilians in Gaza.
