Jakarta, May 14 -- Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR), Puan Maharani, emphasized Indonesia's commitment to supporting Palestinian independence and humanitarian missions for Gazans during a meeting with representatives of the Palestinian Legislative Council on Wednesday.

The meeting took place at the Parliamentary Complex in Jakarta on the sidelines of the 19th Session of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) Conference, which the DPR hosted in the city.
