Jakarta, March 18 -- The House of Representatives (DPR) approved taking the discussions on the Military Bill (RUU TNI) to the next level at the House Plenary Meeting.
"Is the Bill on Amendments to Law Number 34 of 2004 concerning the Indonesian National Armed Forces to be brought to the second stage of discussion in the House Plenary Meeting for approval as a law?" Chair of DPR Commission I, Utut Adianto, stated at the parliament complex here on Tuesday.
All members present responded affirmatively to this question.
The military bill was approved for further discussion at the Plenary Meeting after all political party factions within the House shared their final opinions. All factions consented to continue deliberating on the bill.
