Jakarta, Dec. 9 -- Deputy Minister of National Development Planning Febrian Alphyanto Ruddyard said that integrating human rights and eliminating discrimination are key strategies in Indonesia's policy direction.
Speaking at the 2025 National Human Rights Development Planning Consultation in Jakarta on Monday, he emphasized that the government has placed human rights development as the top priority in the 2025-2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN).
He said this commitment reinforces that Indonesia's development must be grounded in respect for human rights, which form the foundation of economic, social, cultural, environmental and digital transformation policies.
