Jepara, Dec. 20 -- Diponegoro University, in collaboration with private sector partners, has successfully exported dozens of tons of white anchovies caught by fishermen in Jepara District, Central Java, to Japan.
The dispatch of container trucks carrying the anchovies took place at Diponegoro University in Teluk Awur Village, Jepara District, on Saturday.
Diponegoro University Rector Suharnomo said in Jepara on Saturday that the export was the result of cooperation between Japanese companies Marutetsu and Godai, Diponegoro University, and local fisheries entrepreneurs in Jepara.
