Jakarta, Sept. 11 -- Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Kartika Wirjoatmojo stated that Indonesia's digital transformation in the financial sector has achieved a significant milestone.

The significant milestone namely the successful establishment of an independent national payment system through the National Payment Gateway (GPN), Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS), and BI-Fast.

According to Kartika, popularly known as Tiko, this development proves that Indonesia no longer relies entirely on global networks such as Visa and Mastercard, while also strengthening the country's digital resilience.
