Jakarta, Aug. 15 -- Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Nezar Patria stated that Indonesia's current digital space serves as a gateway to independence and empowerment for women.
He emphasized that freedom in the digital era, especially for women, should be understood as the liberty to create, participate in the virtual world, and access education as broadly as possible.
"For women, the digital space even becomes a channel to expand learning opportunities, build independence, and raise their voices for meaningful change," Nezar said in an official statement received in Jakarta on Friday.
