Jakarta, Sept. 8 -- Indonesia's Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi on Monday urged a breakthrough in digital innovation to enhance air travel management and public services amid global challenges.

"We must seize digital transformation to boost competitiveness and improve customer satisfaction," Purwagandhi said during a technical coordination meeting.

He described the meeting as a key step toward creating a more inclusive, modern, and competitive air travel sector.

"This includes digital recording and monitoring of aircraft traffic, optimizing airport capacity, and improving flight routes," the minister added.
