Jakarta, Feb. 25 -- Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Nezar Patria, traced the development of policies related to artificial intelligence (AI) in three regions identified as global AI hubs, here on Tuesday.
At the launch of the Indonesia Cyber Crime Combat Center (IC4), he said that the regions currently recognized as AI technology hubs are America, Europe, and China.
According to Patria, the policy developments in these regions show that the progress of AI technology is also influenced by geopolitical factors.
"America's regulations strongly promote innovation because they embrace liberal values that allow free competition to thrive and lead to better innovations," he observed.
