Jakarta, April 26 -- Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Stella Christie, stressed that using artificial intelligence (AI) requires AI literacy, defined as the ability to interpret AI-generated results.
"If we possess AI literacy, it means we can interpret everything produced by AI. It is not that we should ignore AI usage; that is not my message," Deputy Minister Christie stated during her scientific oration at YARSI University's graduation ceremony here on Saturday.
Christie explained that AI literacy involves critical and analytic thinking in its practical application, including verifying or cross-checking data outputs from AI systems.
