Jakarta, March 24 -- Chairman of the National Economic Council (DEN) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan met with domestic investors to discuss the current national economic conditions.

In his Instagram account @ luhut.pandjaitan post, as quoted here on Monday, Pandjaitan expressed keenness to gather inputs from local investors about the challenges they are facing.

"I believe that effective communication can help in formulating (solutions) for problems," Pandjaitan remarked.

The DEN chairman pointed out that the current global situation is quite challenging due to market volatility, geopolitical uncertainty, and commodity price fluctuations, which have prompted investors to choose a wait-and-watch approach.
