Jakarta, Jan. 25 -- The Ministry of Defense, here on Saturday, opened the "History Corridor" educational tour at the ministry's building.

The ministry's Head of the Defense Information Bureau, Brigadier General Frega Wenas Inkiriwang, stated that opening the History Corridor to the people aims to change the public perception of the ministry as being hard to access.

"We hope this corridor can educate people about national struggles that the current generation might overlook or have limited access to," Inkiriwang remarked during the opening of the History Corridor.

According to the bureau head, the corridor educational tour serves as a reminder that Indonesia is a great and sovereign nation that fought hard for independence.
