Jakarta, Jan. 4 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Defense has mobilized resources from its General Soedirman National Defense Center Hospital (RSPPN) to establish a health post for disaster-hit residents in Aceh Tamiang District, Aceh Province.

The post was set up in collaboration with the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) to provide quality medical services for citizens in Manyak Payed Sub-district who were displaced by the floods and landslides that struck Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra last November.

In a press release issued in Jakarta on Sunday, the RSPPN Natural Disaster Task Force reported that the emergency facility is primarily treating residents suffering from respiratory infections, diarrhea, back pain, and hypertension....
