Jakarta, Feb. 24 -- The launch of Danantara is expected to include more state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in the world's top companies list, Fortune Global 500, issued by Fortune magazine from the United States.
In his remarks, President Prabowo Subianto views Danantara, an SOEs superholding, as a strategic and efficient means to optimize these enterprises through long-term investments using company dividends.
"We want to see more Indonesian SOEs included in the Global Fortune 500 list. Indonesia can become a pioneer and leader in the world economy," he stated at Danantara's launch at the Presidential Palace on Monday.
