Jakarta, April 13 -- Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund, Danantara, is considered a new pillar in the country's economic development, according to Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), Aminuddin Ma'ruf.

Speaking at the Dharma Santi BUMN 2025 summit in Jakarta on Sunday, Ma'ruf said Danantara is expected to become an integral part of the SOE ecosystem that promotes efficiency, accountability, and professional management.

He emphasized that Danantara was created to help achieve the vision of making SOEs more competitive, visible, and impactful in contributing to the national economy.
