Jakarta, Nov. 12 -- Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund Danantara and the government will jointly manage debt for the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train, Whoosh, Chief Operating Officer Dony Oskaria said Tuesday.
Oskaria said the move follows President Prabowo Subianto's directive to ensure the sustainability of the $7.3 billion transport project, which he said has delivered major social and economic benefits.
"The president has also raised the restructuring issue. This will involve both the government and Danantara," Oskaria told reporters in Jakarta.
