Jakarta, March 26 -- Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia emphasized that Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund Danantara must be managed professionally and credibly to support its economic growth.
Lahadalia made this statement in response to journalists' questions about Danantara's top management, which includes experienced figures, including Indonesia's sixth President, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, and the seventh, Joko Widodo.
"Danantara is a financial institution owned by the state. It is like Singapore's Temasek. It is an investment management agency that must be run professionally and credibly," he noted here on Wednesday.
