Jakarta, April 28 -- President Prabowo Subianto on Monday highlighted that the Danantara Investment Management Agency has the potential to manage assets worth over US$1 trillion.

He delivered the statement following a meeting held to foster synergy between Danantara and state-owned enterprises (SOEs) whose assets are under its management.

"If we take a closer look at the assets we possess, we will realize that our country is rich. Danantara's asset value will exceed US$1 trillion-a wealth that can serve as a powerful source of national financial strength, if managed properly," he said in Jakarta on Monday.
