Jakarta, Nov. 15 -- Culture Minister Fadli Zon urged young Indonesians to preserve the nation's cultural identity and draw inspiration from it in their creative pursuits, saying culture provides moral guidance, character, and wisdom in decision-making.

Speaking at a Universitas Nasional graduation ceremony on Saturday, Fadli Zon said Indonesia's cultural values-deliberation, tolerance, mutual cooperation, and compassion-serve as an "antidote to division" in a polarized world.

Delivering a presentation titled "Advanced Culture, Dignified Nation," he emphasized that young people are the frontline guardians of Indonesia's cultural identity.
