Jakarta, May 6 -- Minister of Culture Fadli Zon expressed the government's support for Indonesian filmmakers who will attend the Cannes Film Festival in France, including by facilitating the Indonesian pavilion.
"We will support the travel grants, facilitate the Indonesian pavilion, and also hold an Indonesian night activity," he stated at a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday.
He expressed hope that the delegation, set to depart in mid-May 2025, would capitalize on this opportunity to network, promote Indonesian films, and compete.
