Jakarta, July 22 -- The Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) aims to start selling oil produced from community-run oil wells to companies such as Pertamina by August 1 this year.

"Hopefully, by August 1, we can monetize production from these community wells to Pertamina," Deputy for Exploitation at SKK Migas, Taufan Marhaendrajana, stated during a presentation on the task force's performance achievements in Jakarta on Monday.

Taufan estimates that production from these community wells could contribute an additional 10 thousand to 15 thousand barrels per day (bpd) to Indonesia's national oil lifting.
