Jakarta, Feb. 13 -- The National Commission on Violence against Women (Komnas Perempuan) has urged that the Bill on Domestic Workers' Protection (PPRT Bill) be ratified as soon as possible.

"The 2025 National Domestic Workers' Day is expected to be an opportunity to fulfill the hope ... for the ratification of the PPRT Bill into law," deputy chair of Komnas Perempuan, Olivia Chadidjah Salampessy, said at a press conference here on Thursday.

The National Domestic Workers' Day is commemorated in Indonesia on February 15 every year.
