Jakarta, Aug. 28 -- President Prabowo Subianto on Thursday urged regional leaders to uphold clean and just governance, calling it essential for achieving public welfare and advancing national development.

"There will be no prosperous people without a clean and just government," he said in his keynote speech at the opening of the Apkasi Autonomy Expo 2025 at ICE BSD, Banten.

He reminded that district heads, mayors, sub-district heads, and village heads - being closest to the people - should fully understand the public's daily struggles.
