Bandung, W Java, Jan. 26 -- Indonesian search and rescue teams on Monday continued efforts to find 65 people still missing after a landslide buried Pasir Kuning hamlet in West Bandung District, West Java.
Officials stated that nearly 1,000 personnel have been deployed alongside heavy equipment and search dogs.
Basarnas Operations Director Yudhi Bramantyo said nine excavators and seven water pumps were utilized on the third day of operations to expedite evacuations in Pasirlangu Village, Cisarua Subdistrict.
"Today's operation follows the same pattern as previous days, with nine excavators and seven water pumps operating simultaneously," Bramantyo told reporters in Bandung, referring to the equipment used to clear thick mud and debris....
