Jakarta, May 24 -- Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang is scheduled to arrive in Jakarta via the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base on Saturday afternoon for an official visit, according to the Indonesian Presidential Secretariat.

Yusuf Permana, the secretariat's deputy for protocols, press, and media, stated that PM Li's visit would continue through Monday, May 26.

He affirmed that President Prabowo Subianto is expected to greet the Chinese leader with an official welcome ceremony at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Sunday (May 25) at around 10 a.m. local time.

Following the ceremonial gesture, the two leaders will hold a bilateral meeting accompanied by officials from their respective countries.
